Hello from Oklahoma!

Just found this site! Inola means Black Fox in Indian. I live on 300 acres here in Southeastern Oklahoma and some of the land I own was my grandpa's Indian Allotment he received back in 1902. I own 100 acres of the allotment and will end up with the entire 200 acres someday. I started hunting points (arrowheads) when I was a boy back in the late 60's. I had a hill cleared off with a bulldozer in 1998 and in 2004, my wife and I built a house. While they were building our house we started finding arrowheads little did we know the hill was an old Indian camp ground. I have 2 60' x 75' gardens and find arrowheads all the time. My grandpa told me stories when I was young about a battle that took place between the Indians and the Calvary. This place is about 800 yards in a field in front of my house. I can remember people coming form all over to hunt arrowheads in the spring when my grandpa would plow up the 150 acres. I have always hunted arrowheads but I'm trying to learn more about each pieces age and names. I look forward to meeting everyone.
