Hello everyone. It has been 25years since I hunted arrow heads here in MS. Hunted mainly cultivated fields. I found a lot of smaller points, which I have posted. After 25 years, I went out to a field about a week ago to take a look. Just 30 yards into the field found a point (posted below). Spent another 2 hours without much to show, except some pottery pieces and a big chunk of petrified wood. But, I am hooked again. My points seem so crude compared to the beautiful ones here on this site.....not sure what that means. I know very little...ok nothing....about point names or ages. Look forward to increasing my knowledge here in the forums. Thanks. Well, couldn't figure out how to post pics...will try later...sorry.

Welcome from SW Arkansas.Looks like most,if not all, of the points you posted are true arrowpoints so you're most likely on a Mississippian time period site.Have you tried hunting in any of the creeks or rivers in your area?Might find some older artifacts in them.
Arrowhead shaped leaves are the enemy!
Welcome from AR, nice frame you've got!
Hi John, I have never tried in a river or a creek.....will have to otryto find a place. Thanks
