Part-a-fact?

Found this piece on the edge of a soybean field running parallel on the other side of the field I hunt (same land owners... yay!) I can't wait till it is cut down as I haven't hunted it yet...

SO This looks like a base to some form of relic but you guys be the judge. Stone, not bone...

I'm sorry mudhawk but that doesn't show any signs of being worked or broken or anything at all... perhaps broken off on one end but completely a natural thing.

It looks more like a fossilized piece of something to me.

I'm staying out of threads like this.

Getting involved in them never settles anything, and I only end up getting into it with Matt.

Thanks guys, I really do appreciate you posting back to me on your thoughts and experience. For real!!!!!!!!

As far as this rock:
I am gonna go scrape a branch with it, cut a notch in that branch with the edge on the other side and toss the rock back into the field. The next time I find it, it will have been "used by man" hence an artifact to someone someday. As long as they have a USB Carbon Tester. Otherwise they are screwed .

Someday a poster from "warheadheadology.com" will find it and talk with people with the names: PlasmaMan17, dodecahedron-face, NanoSurgeonDave515, c0^^@n¢h3, and George Looney (some things just don't change). In that case, it would still be COOL AS HELL!!!

Uniface, I always look forward to you having something positive to say about my rocks from never-never land. You can PM me if ya want...

OK its my birthday tequilla time! Adios amigos!

No this was prior to "juice" thank you very much .

(Jest/pun taken with a grain of salt from a friend, just so you know.)

And by the way... This rock aint right! RED FLAG!!! I am saving it....

I know my rocks and you know yours. I am sure some field hunters recognize rocks they have seen time and time again.

If you are studying a part of your heritage, you aren't "Half A$$ed" I have a lil bit of Cherokee in me after all.

Changing from "Lithic Leper" to "Northern Oddity".

LOL, g'night!

Yaaarghhh!!!
