    Argillite thingy

    i found this thanks to Miss Sandy. im posting this because most of the scrapers around here are considered to be preforms and most of the preforms are argillite. most of the artifacts found on this beach are Savannah River-related. i assume this is a scraper of sorts. however, im really not sure.

    I think hide scraper or a butchering tool of some sorts.

    I have something like that but it might be a little smaller. I smooth my hands out with it, roll it around and get the burrs off, lol. Mines pretty boring but its a keeper, nice find!
