Any thoughts on this bone piece

This was dug about 3 feet down along with a anvil stone and a few archaic points several feet over at the same depth. Obviously bone but rib possibly , ? Any input appreciated..

There is a fresh look to it. The nibbled edge looks very suspect. Looks like it has been freshened up. Drastic color change

It looks like rodent gnaw marks on a deer antler (although it could be some other bone.) Probably not as old as it looks.

Ahhhh?........so, no one thinks that is a piece of dropped antler modified to accept a tool for hafting that has been recently reworked by rodents in areas where they can get easy tooth purchase..? Age? No idea, so much would depend on the local conditions of the find.

I was rooting for it. Would be a cool find for sure.
