Trying to get into the hobby. I'd love to buy/trade for some.
    Thanks in advance,

Ryno, can you find and 20D copper nails at any hardware stores in your area? A pressure flaker is so easy to make out of them. Just snip the head off so you have a tip section about 1 3/4" long, drill a 1" deep hole in a wooden dowel, insert nail tip and grind off the pointy tip so it is rounded. Longer dowel and you have an Ishi stick.

    They have 20D here:

You could do a variety of tips out of them... examples: hammer out a tip (like a flat head screwdriver) to use for notching, one can have a conical sharp tip for fine retouch or serrations... sky is the limit.

You can find a nice hammerstone assortment by just taking a walk and testing the durability of them on the material you are hunting. Leather for your hand or lap can generally be found at craft stores.

This is one of the best start to finish knapping videos I have come across. Multiple parts and about an hour and 23 minutes long:

Hey Ryno, making tools is actually kinda fun. I'd try that route first.
My homemade tools are still going strong, and I've been working some tough quartz lately.
We're not hunting for the perfect arrowhead.......
Arrowheads are hunting for the perfect people.
