Here's my best find to date. Most likely will end up being my "find of a lifetime" but I'm going to try my hardest to find a better one.I found this in a Miller Co.,AR creek.Wish I had some new pics but the weather conditions didn't cooperate last time I had it out of the safety deposit box.

That is the finest Scottsbluff point I have ever seen John. I have seen em all and that's the one, the "Best of the Best".
If you ever cast that point I would sure like one.
Hey, here's one photo you missed and it's on my favorite color background.
I hope you don't mind me adding it here for you now.

Yep I agree with Mark----the harder I work the luckier I get . The older I become the less I believe in " luck " . I am convinced that everything happens for a reason . Nothing is random ( even tho it seems that way at times ) I believe that the All Mighty has everything planned , Man's problem is that we either don't like the plan or we don't understand the sequence of events of the plan . ( or we don't like the timing of the plan or we may not believe there is a plan . ) Many don't believe period . Everyone of us have to come to grips with all the above . I have , but it took a lot of hurt , fear , and ( forgive me )----luck .

Having said all the above I still have a tendency to say and think -------" you are a lucky sonagun " ! Don

These Scotty twins were found by Glen Cole within a 10 foot area. They were found a couple of years apart exposed during the droughts of the 1960s.

Central Arkansas Scottsbluff. Lyle told me the name of the material but it slips my memory at the moment.

Found by Rodger Rivers in Western Louisiana. I've looked at three others this big and nice. Of those, the Scoggins Scotty above is the nicest in my opinion. It's way thinner than this one and probably a hair longer.

I dug this Scottsbluff with a lot of help from Keith Brown in Jan. 2006. Found on his "Golden Sands" dig site in Lee county near Giddings, Texas. This picture is straight out of the ground.
