    Paleo Point

This little guy popped out today. Really excited to see a whole paleo point. I am curious about type? Here are all the pics I have. Point went home with my Dad. His oldest finds so far. Happy for him.

Going out on a limb and bucking the Clovis for instead SMH with double long thinning scars on the one side. Look at the right to left diagonal flaking ( if the point were turned so the distal tip was at the top) on the third pic. Also the flute like basal thinning scars came after the point was essentially finished and there are twin scars, neither of these features describe Clovis from Texas (Gainey Points were fluted after the point was essentially finished unlike and being a distinguishing characteristic) and both are characteristic of SMH!
