Really cool stuff guys,
I've been searching for an authentic Anasazi bone flute for along time now. I've seen the ones Steve and others have posted. It's amazing those things survived out in the damp cold & hot widwestern climate for so long. I saw a few at the Maxwell museum Maxwell Museum of Anthropology some years ago. They were made of turkey bone and a few other species of bird, but to this day are extremely rare no matter where they are found. Mud Hawk, I'm a guitar player and one of my guitar students brought over a slide ring he made of Bamboo. I never thought bamboo would ever make a good slide ring. He had this thing so smooth and straight it worked pretty good. It's amazing what you can fashion any material to do.

Ahhhh... slide guitar. have a little bit of experience there too. Yet, I only scholastically played trumpet in highschool. Everything else has stemmed from curiosity. Long live art yes?
