As several other members stated, I too have a distinct dislike of spiders.

I saw this spider during one of my artifacts hunts and thought it would be interesting to have a picture of it. I believe it is a large Wolf spider and she is carrying all of her newly hatched babies.

SmokyHill, first, that's an awesome picture. I would have been freaking out being that close to that many spiders.

I made the mistake one time of touching one of those with my hunting stick. I saw it crawling across the field and I thought it looked odd so I touched it and those little buggers went everywhere in a matter of seconds. You should have this fat boy scampering backwards to get away from them. lol

Jim,

Thanks for sharing your site. You have an impressive show of artwork and photography too. I only wish I had that talent. Salsa at Sunset and Hootchie Kootchie Show are my favorites. The bird and insect pics are first class too!
