My favorite geofacts

I've hung onto a handful of geofacts that still make me ponder and also to admire how the natural eroding process can mimic rock reduction to the point of looking pretty darn intentional.

Semantics asides, even natural weathering is intentional in a Chaos Theory type scenario. We know that wind will lift smaller particles and blast them against other objects, which could be construed as intentional, because it is a law of physics when you parse it down to the finest qualifiers.

Do I sould like Stephen Hawken? You know, he recently advised all of us to get the heck out of Dodge and head for the stars.....

Nice looking Geos manoman. Ole Mother Nature can do some awesome stuff to stone a million or so years to work with.

Ray, are you sure yours is a Geo? That looks like a piece of Limonite and could have been a Plummet preform. Just a thought.

I don't think so Steve. It was found near a limestone outcrop and you could see more concretions still imbedded in it. Ray
