My friend Earl.....

yup, hurricane Earl is heading my way and I'm looking forward to it! It should be passing 100 or so miles off the coast but close enough to really wash my hunting spot (beach) really well and hopefully wash in some nice artifacts. The latest prediction for my area is heavy rains with 45 mph winds and 9 foot seas!!!! Awesome!....now I just have to hope I don't get ordered into work....supposed to be off but this type of event ya can never tell.....keepin my fingers crossed!

Phones are pretty easy to not answer. Especially with caller ID . . .

Uni, my plan is to get out of dodge tomorrow morning before the weather deteriorates and shut my phone off.....Nextel is notorious for poor coverage!

Comanche.....don't put it past me to be out there in the storm....I want to see how far up the surf is pushing/washing my area although I think I'll be able to tell afterwards anyway.....and if a lawn chair blows by, I'll just grab it and have a seat so I can look closer at the ground and find more stuff!!!

Thanks guys, and no, the Debert hasn't washed up yet (that I know of) comanche....here's the deal weather wise....I still have electricity, the wind is NOT blowing and the rain had dampened the driveway.....what the hell???.....apparently "hurricane" Earl is a wimp....at least here anyway......I think it had moved further out to sea and we just aren't getting the results I had hoped for. I'm not sure what the surf is doing but they had downgraded predictions from 9 foot to 3-5 foot seas.....disappointing to say the least.....hopefully, maybe, I'll still find something tomorrow afternoon when the tide receeds......still keepin my fingers crossed!
