    2018 Update

Wish you were getting ready to see some nice ones but man what a rough year its been for finding the points especially whole. I even got permission to walk a new creek. The owner said it hasnt been walked in years but I didnt hardly find a thing just scrapers (3). Ive found lots of pottery to there are 2 pieces in my frame one is a Awl sharpening tool and the other is my favorite pottery to find and its from the Swift Creek culture they liked to use the swirls which I find amazing. I hope others are having a better year and thanks for the looks.

I enjoy looking keeps me busy hoping to find a couple of killers for my frame but so far its just been fun. Cant dig so its all surface finds and the creeks are usually good after a good flood. We have had 4 floods this year in the creeks but every time the water starts to get a little low another week of rain comes. Like this Tuesday into next week. Maybe it will wash some mud off maybe not.
    Thanks

That would be nice if it was but I believe its a used up Palmer the blade has a twist or bevel from sharpening.

When you find them in the creeks the moisture makes the flint bright then after you get them home they will dull. This was a very nice color when it was wet. Its a knife made from a cobble not sure what the material is but I have shown it to others in my area and they havent seen it before so it might of been traded in.

This one is my favorite point due to the color and I found it in my friends footprint. Funny thing is the next time we went out a couple of weeks ago he found one in my footprint and let me know about it. When you step in the sand your weight will push the sand away and go to hard pan to reveal whats underneath. It has a very short stem but is all there.
