    Spokeshave/some kind of scraper

    Spotted a peculiar notch and thought “that can’t be natural”. Sure enough, there was a working edge on the curve. All sides of the tool have working on one side or the other. It was certainly made to scrape something.

    That looks like a worked spokeshave piece to me. Possible obsidian, black volcanic glass.
    did you find it near volcanic glass/ obsidian source (new mexico, oregon etc?)
