I like to travel light. But there is one thing that is very very important to bring along. That one thing is TP, ever try wiping with a sage brush? Not fun!!!!

Artifact hunting I carry a pocket knife, water, small pack, paper towels(wraping arties or as TP), phone/camera, snack, small folding trowel, magnesium fire tool and a walking stick.

Colt 1911 for hunting(plus rife or shotgun) or Bennelli M1A1 for camping. Both of which I don't really do anymore.

Good call, it really sucks when you forget the tp / paper towels and come home wearing only one sock...lol.

Once i decided to make a slingshot for my 11 year old nephew..i cut the shape out of an ash board ,put 2 thick, stong rubberbands on it just to try it out to make sure it would not break..i placed a marble in the leather sling, pulled it back ,my fingers slipped and the marble went thru a wooden blinds, the window, the storm window and knocked the bark off of a shrub outside the window..i thew it into the trash, might as well have given him a gun..

I always used my hanky in situations like this. I've lost quite a few over the years.

The dreaded poop sock. I have ran across many of them. But have yet to had to contribute to this epidemic plagueing our hunting grounds.

With Aussie accent.

NOW THAT'S A KNOIFE!

On the TP talk, I'd never thought about the poop sock but while hunting I have cut off more than one pair of undies. Freeball hunting is better than a foot in a boot without a sock, to me.
