Whoa. Those are nice Dana! Close-ups of those would be great. I pretty much have close--ups of all of mine. Most have been posted. I can photo anything else if you like.

Yeah my pictures really don't do justice to the points. First frame is mostly Oregon stuff and it's all spectacular. I'll get some better pictures of those and others. It was late and we were having trouble with the lighting.

silver lake, my collection is around 98% personally found. Almost all of my collection has come from 4 counties in my area, two located in southern Ohio and two located in northern Kentucky. The counties are Scioto and Lawrence in Ohio and Greenup and Lewis in Kentucky and all 4 border the Ohio River. I also have a few from Adams, Pike, and Gallia counties in Ohio and from Bath county in Kentucky.

What you see in those pictures is 44 years of my life. I found my first arrowhead at the age of 6 and I just turned 50 last March. My father got me started in this hobby and I owe everything you see to him. If he hadn't taken us arrowhead hunting when we were kids I probably never would have gotten hooked and dedicated so much of my life to finding and preserving the artifacts I have. My entire collection will be turned over to my son on my demise and he can do with it what he wants. I hope he keeps it intact, but if he chooses to sell it the so be it.

You have a very impressive collection and I only wish I had started much earlier.

Interesting topic that I figured I'd bump for the members who may not have seen it yet.

Not much on the wall around here, a frame full of "artifakes" a friend made is about it. I live in a great area and neighborhood but scard of the smash and grab guys/methheads. Everything stays in the 900lb safe.... peace of mind.... plus when you do bring them out it's like Christmas seeing them again!....

Ohhh also had a buddy that had a monster LeCroy point on the wall that his pet bird knocked off the wall and broke. I mean this LeCroy was amazing around 1.5" wide and 2'' long, paper thin with flakes that went all the way across... broke across the middle and snapped off the tip. What a shame.... *tear*

Not a wall hanging fan myself, I don't like glue and possible disasters. I stack them in frames for easy access.
