This is a state of art optical spectroscopic system that will fit in your back pocket. This system was developed in my lab using an IR laser spectrograph combined with narrow band emitters and a broadband UV-Vis-IR Spectrograph. Using these devices in tandem allowed the recent discovery of a combined effects filter that has shortpass and non-linear characteristics which basically has an "X-Ray" penetration effect on rocks and minerals used by the ancients to construct artifacts. Photos above show jade but the depth of penetration is 1-2mm into the surface. Talk is Talk, but seeing is believing. You can look at a bleached out piece of Burlington and it lights up like a Christmas tree. seeing deep penetration weathering bands and points in the rock. same goes for Texas flint, KRF and flints and cherts i haven't tested. Paleo material exhibits extreme color variations and weathering bands. The system was designed for Pre-Columbian items, however it has worked on all types of items from Greek and Roman, Egyptian. If anyone orders this system it takes me 2-3 weeks to build it and send it out. Also on receipt of an order i will send out a non-disclosure agreement to be signed and sent back to me. An ex-Military guy came by the house and saw what this did and he ordered one right then, that's how good it is..If you need a Secret Military Weapon in your back pocket at artifact shows this is it.
